ZA Productions is an independent multimedia company who specialise in words, sounds and images. We produce music, edit video and craft copy. Sometimes we do it for fun; occasionally we do it for the hell of it, but often we do it because our clients ask it of us.

Although based in Edinburgh, Scotland, our work takes us all over the world. We’ve made music and written content for people on every continent. Apart from Antarctica. We’re still trying to crack that one.

 

Scottish Music Producers

Whether chopping up vocals, video or verbs, we throw ourselves into it, so that the finished product sings, scans and soars. We think life’s too short to waste time churning out bland music and generic videos. So we make good ones instead. The same is true of the blogs and press releases that we craft – they read kind of differently. That’s because they’re supposed to.

 

Captivating Copy

When it comes to film, music and literature, there are no rules. Either something works or it doesn’t. German techno with Scottish rap? Spanish guitar with sub bass? Why not? So long as it sounds good, music can be assembled any way you like. Similarly, when it comes to copywriting, we’ve learned that so long as the message gets through, you can end your sentences any which way you elephant.

The phrase for it is ‘thinking outside the box’, but we don’t like that. So we just call it ‘thinking’.
